Hülkenberg, who has scored all of⁤ Sauber’s points this season, overtook Lewis Hamilton, the seven-time⁣ world ⁢champion from Ferrari, to secure fifth place.His teammate, Brazilian​ rookie Gabriel Bortoleto, finished 12th and has yet to score his first F1 points.

“It was one of those Sundays ‌where everything came together really well,” Hülkenberg said.

He also noted the importance of tire strategy. “Ironically, not having the best Saturday and saving a set of softs gave us a strategic edge with the tire allocation. The safety car mixed things up ‌a bit, ‍and⁢ having those fresh ‍compounds turned out to be a golden ticket,” Hülkenberg added, highlighting the team’s ‌adaptability.
