Spectrum Brings Gigabit Internet, Mobile, TV, and Voice to McNairy County, Tennessee

SELMER, Tenn. — Spectrum, the nation’s leading rural internet provider, has expanded its services to over 1,800 homes and small businesses in McNairy County, Tennessee. This rollout is part of Spectrum’s multi-year Rural Construction Initiative, driven by a $7 billion private investment that aims to connect around 1.75 million households and businesses across the country to superior connectivity.

Tim Williams, Vice President of Construction at Spectrum, shared, "Spectrum is transforming unserved communities in Tennessee and across America by delivering gigabit broadband. Our investment is making it possible for residents and small businesses in McNairy County to enjoy high-value broadband, mobile, TV, and voice services at affordable prices, backed by local technicians and U.S.-based customer service."

Powerful Broadband, Mobile Savings, and Streaming Galore

Spectrum Internet delivers speeds up to 1 Gbps with advanced WiFi, featuring starting speeds of 500 Mbps. There are no modem fees, data caps, or contracts. Spectrum Business Internet offers speeds up to 1 Gbps with options for 400 Mbps and 600 Mbps. Spectrum is also evolving its network to provide gigabit upstream speeds and multiple gigabit download speeds across its 41-state service area.

Congressman David Kustoff praised the expansion, saying, "Reliable and affordable internet is crucial for education, business development, and economic opportunity. Too many homes and businesses in McNairy County lack access to reliable broadband. Thank you to the FCC and Spectrum for bringing internet, mobile, TV, and voice services to over 1,800 unserved locations. We look forward to further expansion in West Tennessee."

Spectrum consistently exceeds advertised speeds, even during peak usage, as confirmed by the FCC’s "Measuring Broadband America Fixed Broadband Report."

State Senator Page Walley added, "I appreciate Charter’s commitment to expanding coverage to areas without internet access. Their partnership has made expanding internet infrastructure efficient and timely for communities across District 26."

Streamlined Connectivity and Entertainment

In addition to broadband, Spectrum now offers Spectrum Mobile, the nation’s fastest-growing mobile provider. Spectrum Mobile combines with Spectrum Internet and Advanced Home WiFi for seamless connectivity indoors and out. It provides nationwide 5G access at great value, with Unlimited lines starting at $30 a month and By the Gig options.

Spectrum TV boasts over 270 HD channels and access to 85,000 On Demand movies and shows. The Spectrum TV App, America’s highest-rated pay TV streaming app, offers content streaming across multiple platforms.
