Pepper Prices Today (September 11): Market Update

Pepper prices today (September 11) have experienced a slight increase compared to yesterday. In the Southeast region, key areas have seen a rise of 1,000 to 2,500 VND/kg, with prices trading around 152,000-155,500 VND/kg. The highest purchase price was recorded in Dak Lak province at 155,500 VND/kg.

Breaking down the pepper prices today in specific regions, Dak Lak has seen an increase of 2,500 VND/kg, with prices now at 155,500 VND/kg. In Chu Se (Gia Lai), the price has risen by 1,000 VND/kg to 153,000 VND/kg. Meanwhile, Dak Nong has witnessed an increase of 2,000 VND/kg, with prices now at 155,000 VND/kg.

In the Southeast region, pepper prices have increased by 2,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Binh Phuoc has maintained its price at 152,000 VND/kg, while Ba Ria-Vung Tau has seen a rise to 155,000 VND/kg, an increase of 2,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

On the global market, the International Pepper Association (IPC) has released the latest world pepper prices. As of the most recent trading session, the price of Indonesian Lampung black pepper was listed at 7,542 USD/ton, while the price of Muntok white pepper was at 9,096 USD/ton, down 0.01%.

The price of Brazilian ASTA 570 black pepper remained stable at $7,400/ton, down 1.35%. Malaysian ASTA black pepper was priced at $8,800/ton, while the price of Malaysian ASTA white pepper reached $10,900/ton.

Vietnamese black pepper prices have remained stable, with 500 g/l priced at 6,600 USD/ton and 550 g/l at 7,000 USD/ton. White pepper prices were stable at 9,300 USD/ton.
