While⁤ Spielberg hasn’t directed a Western, he produced the 2005 miniseries “Into the West.” Some fans consider his “Indiana Jones” ‍series action-adventure movies with Western elements.

Spielberg recently completed production ⁣on an untitled UFO movie,written by David Koepp,known for‍ “Jurassic Park.” The film features Emily Blunt, Wyatt Russell, Josh O’Connor, ⁢and others. Spielberg and kristie Macosko Krieger produced the film for⁤ Amblin Entertainment, along‍ with Chris Brigham.

This UFO project marks Spielberg’s ⁣first directorial effort since 2022’s “The Fabelmans,” a film inspired by his ‍early life.
