Spin Back in Time: Tokyo University of the Arts Library Presents ‘The 4th Leonid Kreutzer on Gramophone’ Concert
Leonid Kreutzer: A Musical Legacy Lives On
This year marks the 140th anniversary of the birth of renowned pianist Leonid Kreutzer (1884-1953), who left an indelible mark on Tokyo University of the Arts and the Japanese music world.
To honor his achievements and allow people to experience the beauty of the sound he produced, we will be holding a concert using the gramophones and SP records in our museum’s collection.
Enjoy Kreutzer’s performance with the sound of a gramophone that is said to make you feel as if the performer is really there.
