Nintendo has confirmed that Splatoon Raiders, the upcoming single-player spin-off in the Splatoon series, will launch exclusively for the Nintendo Switch 2 on July 23, 2026. The game was first announced on June 10, 2025, and a second trailer released on April 21, 2026, revealed the release date along with gameplay footage showcasing weapon upgrades, character customization, and encounters with Salmonid enemies on the Spirhalite islands.
Splatoon Raiders will be available in both digital and physical formats. The digital version is priced at $49.99 in North America, while the physical edition carries a suggested retail price of $59.99. In the United Kingdom, the physical version will cost £49.99, with the digital edition priced at £41.99. The game’s file size has been estimated at 20 GB by Nintendo of America’s official website.
The game features the musical trio Deep Cut — Shiver, Frye, and Big Man — who appear in new Raiders-themed outfits. Corresponding amiibo figures for each character have been announced, with their bases designed to connect and form a display stand. Players will take on the role of a customizable Mechanic character, working alongside Deep Cut to raid islands, salvage resources, hunt treasure, and defend against waves of Salmonid enemies.
