The fatal crash occurred on State Route 26, approximately two miles southeast of Lacrosse, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The incident took place at approximately 10:58 p.m. While both the bicyclist and the driver were traveling westbound near milepost 108.
Washington State Patrol reported that the driver struck the bicyclist near the fog line. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators noted that the bicyclist was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.
No injuries were reported for the occupants of the vehicle.
Authorities stated that drugs or alcohol are not believed to have been involved in the crash.
