Citizens are preparing for the clocks to change from summer time to winter time in 2024 in light of the implementation of a decision by the Egyptian Cabinet issued in 2023, reactivating the practice of changing clocks during winter and summer in Egypt.

Daylight Saving Time will continue for 6 months as per the cabinet decision in April last year, according to which clock hands were moved forward by 60 minutes, starting at 12 noon on Friday, April 26, 2024, until the end of Thursday (the last Thursday in October).

Winter time begins at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, November 1, 2024, and winter time begins; The clocks will go back 60 minutes, so it will be 11pm on Thursday 31st October instead of 12am on Friday 1st November.
