Good Morning and Today’s Recipe

We’re expecting guests today, so I’ve been busy tidying up since the morning. The house is so clean, and I like it when guests come over because the house is so tidy. I clean it up every day, but when I have guests, I wipe everything down, so it’s sparkling clean.

Today’s Recipe: Sweet Potato Chive Pork Pancake

Hey! Anyway! Aren’t vegetables expensive? Cherry tomatoes, I want to eat bento. Meanwhile, sweet potatoes! It seems to be cheaper than usual! A recipe using affordable sweet potatoes! Let’s try it!

Ingredients:

• 1 sweet potato (about 160g)
• 1/2 bunch of Chinese chives
• 150g pork
• 1 tablespoon yakiniku sauce
• 1 egg
• 3 tablespoons of potato starch
• 2 tablespoons of plain flour

Instructions:

Wash the sweet potatoes thoroughly and cut them into thin strips, including the skin. Cut the chives into 5cm pieces. Cut the pork into small pieces as well.

Rub the pork with yakiniku sauce.

Mix all ingredients, eggs and flour in a bowl.

Spread thinly into a greased frying pan, cover and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes.

Flip it over, cover it again and bake for another 6 minutes and it’s done!

Even as is, the balance of seasoned meat and sweetness of sweet potato is super delicious. If you like, you can add gochujang + mayonnaise to it and eat it deliciously. Highly recommended!

McDonald’s Breakfast

Yesterday I was talking to Dumbo about breakfast and he said he’d never tried a McGriddle. I was surprised. I wonder if there are a lot of people out there who haven’t tried one either.

I like the McGriddle Sausage and Egg on the left. This was first released in 2007. I can’t believe I haven’t had it for 17 years.

I suddenly had a craving for it. So, I wonder if I should take Dumbo to make his griddle debut tomorrow before work?

Halloween Costume for Sumire

Last night I was looking for a Halloween costume for Sumire. She’s going to a dance event that she participated in last year, and she’s going to do it again this year.

I’m wondering what to do this year. How about this? I suggested a cosplay I found on Amazon.

I was rejected outright. My bananas, eggplants, and green beans are all like, “That’s impossible.”
