Major League Pickleball (MLP) has revealed the group draws for its upcoming event in St. Petersburg, Florida, which is scheduled to take place from June 17 to June 21.
The competition will be hosted at St. Pete Athletic. According to official communications from the organization, the event has been expanded to a five-day schedule.
Venue and Facilities
St. Pete Athletic serves as the site for the tournament and is described as St. Petersburg’s premier paddle athletic club. The facility is open to the public and features 14 professional pickleball courts.
In addition to pickleball, the venue provides facilities for Padel and Table Tennis. The club offers various programming including coaching, leagues and social events for players of all ages and skill levels.
The facility also includes a full restaurant, a coffee bar, and a cocktails bar, along with other club-level amenities designed to integrate sport, and hospitality.
Event Details
The announcement regarding the group draws confirms that the team placements are now locked for the June 17–21 event. The transition to a five-day format represents an addition of one day to the front end of the original schedule.
While the St. Petersburg event prepares for its June dates, Major League Pickleball continues other competitions, such as the Edward Jones MLP Cup, which features matchups including the St. Louis Shock against the Brooklyn Pickleball Team.
Beyond professional tournaments, St. Pete Athletic maintains a schedule of public instructional events. For instance, the venue is hosting a 6-week beginner skills clinic series and a 6-week intermediate skills clinic series, both occurring on Wednesdays in April 2026.
