Detectives are actively investigating two deadly shootings in St. Petersburg, Florida.

The first shooting occurred on Thursday around 7 p.m. near the Three Brothers Market on 16th Avenue South. Police found a 34-year-old man who had been shot. He died at the scene, and the shooter has not yet been found.

The second shooting took place overnight Friday. Officers received a call about a shooting at Jefferson Circle North near 62nd Avenue North. They found a man on the street with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital but later died.
