A 22-year-old man was violently attacked, robbed, and stabbed in Milan on the night of October 12, 2023, resulting in permanent injuries to his leg. The attack occured around 3:00 AM on Via rosales, a street located in the Corso Como nightlife district, near a nightclub.
The victim, a student at Bocconi university in Milan, encountered the group of attackers by chance. He was initially mocked and beaten before being robbed of 50 euros.
Arrests Made
Five individuals have been arrested in connection with the attack, according to a precautionary custody order issued by a Milanese investigating judge. The suspects, all residents of the Monza area, include three 17-year-olds and two 18-year-olds.
The two adult suspects have prior minor criminal records – one for theft and the other for possession of a bladed weapon. The three minors have no prior criminal record,according to police reports.
Severity of Injuries
Initially believed to be minor, the victim’s injuries were found to be severe upon examination at the hospital.he sustained two deep wounds to his buttock and back, one of which damaged an artery, causing severe internal bleeding and affecting his bone marrow.
Doctors have determined that the injuries will result in permanent damage to the mobility of his leg. The investigation was conducted by the garibaldi-venice police station in milan.
