Star Wars Comics July 2026 Solicitations: Rogue One – Saw Gerrera #1 Now Available July 1

Marvel Comics has announced its July 2026 solicitations for Star Wars titles, featuring a new one-shot focusing on Saw Gerrera from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

The comic, titled Rogue One – Saw Gerrera #1, is set for release on July 1, 2026, and will be written by Marc Bernardin with art by Gabriel Guzman. The cover will be illustrated by David Marquez, with variant covers by Ben Harvey and a photo variant also available.

According to the solicitation, the story explores Saw Gerrera’s actions following his service in the Clone Wars, depicting him as a soldier willing to go to extreme lengths to secure information that could shift the balance of power in the Rebellion’s favor. The narrative centers on a mission deep into Imperial territory to obtain a critical intelligence source, examining the moral cost of such actions and what ultimately led the Rebellion to distance itself from Gerrera’s methods.

The one-shot is part of Marvel’s line of Rogue One-related comics released to coincide with the ten-year anniversary of the 2016 film. It is described as a canon story that delves into the events and decisions that shaped Gerrera’s path toward becoming the hardened rebel seen in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

Also included in the July 2026 lineup is Shadow of Maul #5, the final issue of the five-part series written by Benjamin Percy with art by Madibek Musabekov. Scheduled for release on July 8, 2026, the issue continues the story of Captain Lawson and Two-Boots as they confront growing corruption within their department on the planet Janix, with the looming threat of Darth Maul’s campaign of terror closing in.
