‘Supermoves: World of Parkour’ Set for Steam Delisting

 Updated June 29, 2025
‌

The⁤ parkour game, Supermoves: world of Parkour, faces removal from ⁤Steam on June 30.Gamers⁤ have a ‌limited window to⁤ purchase ‌the title ⁢at a discounted price of $0.79.

Despite positive reviews and a gameplay style reminiscent of Mirror’s Edge, Supermoves ‍ struggled commercially. This led to the closure of‍ its developer, Makea Games, in April. ⁤The game combines freerunning mechanics with multiplayer ⁣modes.

Tomi Toikka, founder and former CEO of Makea Games, attempted to retain the Supermoves ⁤ IP, but was unsuccessful. According to Toikka, Makea’s financial ⁢structure prevented him ⁢from keeping the game available. “After shutting⁢ down Makea Games, I‌ had hoped I could salvage the game IP to be preserved in another game company, so players could still play the game they own online, and maybe it could see a ‍resurgence in new ⁢players one⁢ day. But sometimes the cost of ⁤doing business is losing something you love,” Toikka said.

The delisting process also involves shutting down all multiplayer⁣ functionality. Players will only be able to access the single-player mode, considerably reducing the game’s⁢ original scope.

Toikka expressed his frustration with the situation. “if you care about digital preservation, independent growth, or public R&D policy, I hope the fate of supermoves sparks a wider conversation about how we keep creative work alive, even when the business behind⁤ it closes its doors,” he said. “I’ll cherish the time I ⁢spent working on‌ the game with⁢ the greats at Makea Games forever.‌ I just wish I⁢ could have played the game online ⁢with my⁢ future kids someday.”

what’s next

interested players should purchase Supermoves before June 30. The base game is priced at $0.79, while the deluxe edition,⁣ featuring cosmetic items and the soundtrack, costs $2.43.
