Royal Cauldon Vintage Sugar Bowl and Milk Pot Set “Victoria” Pattern

Royal Cauldon Milk Jug and Sugar Bowl
Royal Cauldon was originally founded in 1802 as Job Ridgway & Sons in Cauldon Place, Stoke-Oatford, England. In 1905, the company changed its name to Cauldon Ltd, began producing high-quality porcelain, and just 1930 after its founding, it was awarded a Royal Warrant by Queen Victoria. Later, the company changed its name to Royal Cauldon, and in recent years it has come under the umbrella of Wedgwood, and ceased in-house production. Due to its small production volume, it remains highly popular with collectors around the world.
On the back there is a backstamp that reads: Royal Cauldon 1774 Made in England. Coldon pottery often has stamps with the year the company was founded, such as 1774 or Est 1652, but as the company has changed name and ownership many times, the dates vary and it appears that the company was actually founded a little later.
It can be seen that this stamp was made between 1950 and 1962. As it is an old item, there are chips and small cracks, but it is not enough to affect use. Please check the photos for details. There is some rubbing on the gold rim.
