Bawang Tea Princess Becomes Exclusive Partner of China Open
China.com Finance, September 20th. Today, Bawang Tea and China Open officially signed a contract at the National Tennis Center, becoming the exclusive partner of China Open. It is reported that Bawang Tea is the first freshly brewed tea beverage brand to cooperate with China Open.
During the event, Bawang Tea’s “Together Together” themed pop-up store will be unveiled at the National Tennis Center, allowing consumers to experience the fun of tennis while bringing fans a diverse experience through the China Open “Meeting Friends with Tea”.
In April this year, Bawang Tea officially announced that Chinese tennis player Zheng Qinwen became the brand’s first “Health Ambassador”, working together to provide consumers with healthy and reliable beverage options. This time, Bawang Tea and China Open joined hands, and we also look forward to bringing healthier, more transparent and less burdensome modern oriental tea drinks to global consumers through this important window of China Open.
At the signing ceremony, Wang Zikang, deputy general manager of Bawang Tea’s Beijing subsidiary, said that Bawang Tea’s partnership with the China Open is a collaboration between advocates and communicators of a healthy lifestyle. In order to let more consumers and sports enthusiasts understand the concept of healthy tea drinks, during the 2024 China Open, Bawang Tea will also open offline interactive pop-up spaces called “Youjian Tennis Courts” in multiple stores in Beijing, providing tea lovers with an immersive experience of the charm of tennis.
Wu Yanan, Chief Brand Marketing Officer and General Manager of Brand Marketing Center of Beijing China Open Sports Promotion Co., Ltd., said that tennis is a healthy and fashionable lifestyle, which is consistent with the brand concept of Bawang Cha Ji. He hopes to use the international event platform of China Open to convey the healthy tea concept represented by Bawang Cha Ji to global audiences, so that more people can enjoy the passion and happiness brought by tennis while also feeling the unique charm of oriental culture and the charm of modern healthy life.
In recent years, with the popularization of health awareness, young people have more diverse requirements for tea health, and the tea industry has also been continuously advancing in the journey of health. In order to meet consumers’ pursuit of taste and flavor, Bawang Chaji has continued to bring innovative product concepts to the new tea market since its establishment, promoting the development and upgrading of the industry.
Bawang Chaji has established the product health standards of “0 artificial flavors added to the tea base, 0 trans fatty acids in the whole cup, and 0 creamer in milk”, and has also successively launched functions such as “product ID card” and “health calculator”, becoming the first brand in the field of freshly brewed tea to disclose the calories of its products.
In February this year, Bawang Cha Ji fully implemented the “Nutrition Choice” logo in all stores in Shanghai, becoming one of the first pilot units for nutrition and health guidance in Shanghai; in June of the same year, Bawang Cha Ji implemented this innovative initiative in more than 5,000 stores across the country. Consumers can choose the products that suit them through the clear ABCD logo, making it the first tea brand in the country to use a nutrition grading system.
