Stena Line is rebranding its terminal operations in Liepaja, Latvia, to Stena Line Ports Liepajas, according to Liene Lemane, Trade Director for the Baltic Sea North at Stena line.
The company has announced plans for phased modernization of the terminal’s infrastructure, focusing on enhanced safety, security, and traffic flow. This advancement coincides with a separate project by the Liepaja Special Economic Zone Authority to rebuild berth 46 at Liepaja Port, slated for completion by December 31, 2027.
Stena Line anticipates the acquisition will bolster its presence in the Baltic Sea region, complementing existing port operations in Ventspils, Latvia, and Karlskrona, Sweden, as well as its established ferry network connecting Latvia, Sweden, Germany, and Poland.
