Step Back in Time: Godox Unveils the iM30, a Vintage-Inspired Flash that Packs a Punch in a Pocket-Sized Package
Godox iM30: A Retro-Style Flash for Digital and Film Cameras
Godox, a renowned studio flash and light brand, has launched a new flash, the Godox iM30, which boasts a retro style and compact design. Weighing only 78 grams, this flash is perfect for attaching to a digital camera or using with a film camera. With a GN 15 power, it’s an excellent addition to any photography setup.
In terms of appearance, the iM30 draws inspiration from the iconic flash units of film camera series like Contax G TLA200 or FUJIFILM EF-X20. Its square box shape and compact size make it easy to carry around.

The Godox iM30 is a manual flash with adjustable power from 1/64 to 1/1 via a dial on the top. It features an indicator light and mode adjustment button. In addition to being compatible with hot-shoe digital cameras, the flash also accepts a 2.5mm port to connect a sync cable for use with film cameras or older devices.
