Exhibition Design Exercise: A Collaborative Learning Experience
The Exhibition Design Exercise is a social co-creation course offered by the Tokyo University of the Arts Curatorial Education and Research Center. This course is designed for students and working adults, and it will be developed as part of the “Yurakucho Geidai Campus” program, a three-way collaboration between Tokyo University of the Arts, Tokyo Metropolitan Government, and YAU. Through this course, participants will gain practical knowledge about planning, producing, and running a contemporary art exhibition in Yurakucho.
What is YAU?
Yurakucho Art Urbanism (YAU) is a demonstration program that aims to attract artists to the city and encourage interaction with workers. YAU brings together a diverse range of artists, including media artists, performing artists, and art managers. By participating in the Exhibition Design Exercise, students and workers can foster a co-creative community with society and develop artistic talent that will play an active role in society.
