Steve Jobs, despite his role in funding Pixar, understood his limits in filmmaking. According to Pixar’s chief creative officer, Pete Docter, Jobs recognized that directing movies wasn’t “his business.” Docter, a 35-year Pixar veteran, recently spoke at Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies Gala and Summit, offering insights into Jobs’ leadership.
