Stevie Williams, the 29-year-old Welsh cyclist, will be sidelined for the 2025 Tour de France and the British National Road Race Championships due to a persistent knee problem. Williams,who previously triumphed at the 2024 Tour Down Under in Australia,is now focusing on recovery.
the quadriceps tendonopathy in his right knee has proven challenging to manage, preventing him from competing. He had hoped to participate in the national championships in Ceredigion, west Wales, near his hometown of Aberystwyth, scheduled for June 26-29.The Tour de France begins July 5 in Lille.
