The “Shut Up” artist, whose real name is Michael Omari, acknowledged the difficulty in distinguishing himself from the character. Both are rappers, creating a complex dynamic during filming. Stormzy saeid portraying the rapper role was tough because he is a rapper.
Despite the challenges, Stormzy embraced the experience. The ”Vossi bop” performer noted that he relishes being challenged and stepping outside his comfort zone. ‘Big Man,’ a 20-minute short, is the inaugural release from Stormzy’s production company, #merkyfilm, and was filmed entirely using an iPhone.
