Strava fired an employee after she went‌ vrey viral on ​social media this week.

Shireen Afkari was filmed Saturday yelling at​ and physically assaulting ⁢staff ⁤at san Francisco’s celebrity restaurant Hazie’s. The explosive ⁢footage⁢ filmed by a witness of the⁢ incident has amassed millions​ of views across several platforms.

Strava confirmed Thursday in ‌an Instagram post promoting its recent “Trend Report” that it had axed⁣ Afkari.

“We‍ are aware of an employee who exhibited extremely concerning off-hours behavior. We don’t condone‍ violence​ of any kind and this does not reflect the standards we expect ​of ⁣our team,” reads the comment.

“This past ‍Monday, ⁤we made the decision to end the individual’s employment.”

The website ‍ SF Gate ⁢reported that ⁣Afkari had been working as senior manager of growth marketing at the San Francisco-based fitness app Strava.
