K-Pop Dominates Billboard’s World Albums Chart for January 18
Stray Kids continues its reign at the top of Billboard’s World Albums chart, as their SKZ HOP HIPTAPE “合 (HOP)” secures the No. 1 spot for the fourth consecutive week. The album also maintains its presence on the Billboard 200, holding steady at No. 42. This achievement cements Stray Kids’ position as one of K-pop’s most consistent chart-toppers.
BTS’s Jimin proves his enduring star power with his solo album “MUSE,” which remains at No. 2 for its 25th week on the World Albums chart. The album also makes history as the first K-pop solo project to spend 25 consecutive weeks on the Billboard 200, setting a new benchmark for solo artists in the genre.
ENHYPEN’s “ROMANCE : UNTOLD” holds strong at No. 5, marking its 26th week on the chart. Meanwhile, BTS’s 2022 anthology album “Proof” climbs back to No. 6, showcasing the group’s longevity with an impressive 135 weeks on the chart.
