Streamlined Registration and License Tax Service for Food Hygiene Businesses in Deokyang-gu, Goyang
Deokyang-gu, Goyang Special City, is set to introduce a one-stop registration and license tax service for food hygiene businesses newly applying for business from November 8. This innovative service aims to reduce the inconvenience faced by food business operators who previously had to visit the tax department in person to pay the registration and license tax.
The new one-stop service allows payment of the registration and license tax to be made at the sanitation department, eliminating the need to visit the tax department. This streamlined process can now be completed in batches, making it more efficient for businesses.
A total of 15 types of food hygiene businesses are eligible for this service, including general restaurants, cafeterias, bakeries, food subdivision businesses, distribution specialty sales businesses, other food sales businesses, and food vending machine businesses.
Once the review of the food business report is completed, a registration and license tax payment text message will be sent to the complainant’s mobile phone, enabling them to pay the license tax according to the message.
The introduction of this one-stop service is expected to reduce travel and waiting time for complainants, improve the convenience of tax payment, and enhance the efficiency of complaint processing. Plans are underway to propose additional applications and expansions to other industries beyond food hygiene businesses.
A district official emphasized the commitment to providing convenience for civil complaints through the one-stop service for registration and license tax for sanitary business business licenses, ensuring speedy administrative services that citizens can enjoy.
