16th Music Town Development Piano Concert: Experience the Famous Steinway at Yashio Mecenat

This year, the “Music Town Development Piano Concert” will be held at Yashio Mecenat, marking the 16th anniversary of the event. The concert will feature the world-famous Steinway piano, and attendees can enjoy the rich tones of Steinway music at Yashio Mecenat.
The concert will take place on Sunday, October 13th from 2pm to 4:30pm. The first part will feature performances by local participants, while the second part will showcase a professional pianist delivering a spectacular performance. The beautiful sound of the piano will fill the venue.
Tickets for the concert will go on sale at the Yashio Mecenat counter from Thursday, September 19th. Tickets are 500 yen each, and there are only 50 available. Preschool children can enter for free if accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Meet the Pianists
Nobuko Sato

Nobuko Sato is a talented pianist who graduated from the Tokyo College of Music High School and then completed the university’s piano performance course and master’s degree program at the top of her class. During her time at the university, she received a scholarship and performed at the graduation concert and many newcomer concerts.
She is active both in Japan and abroad as a soloist and ensemble pianist, performing with the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra and the Ensemble Shinshu in Miyata. She has also performed with world-renowned flutists W. Bennett and D. Bouriakov, and accompanied them in their master classes.
Nobuko Sato has received high acclaim in Japan and abroad for both her musical education and performance, and her performances in Yashio City are sure to continue to attract attention as part of the cultural activities rooted in the local community.
Yuune Hakozaki

Yuune Hakozaki is a young pianist who has achieved outstanding results in numerous piano competitions. She was selected for the E and G grades of the Pitina Piano Competition National Finals, won third place in the high school student division of the Piano Section of the Japan Performers Competition, and won the gold medal in the all-movement section of the Sonata Competition.
She has received high acclaim both in Japan and abroad, including the Excellence Award in the Professional Division at the 5th French Piano Competition and the Takahashi Takako Award and Sakai Chiharu Award at the 12th Sengawa Piano Audition.
Currently, Mr. Hakozaki is studying at the Department of Instrumental Music at the Faculty of Music at Tokyo University of the Arts, where he is studying under Mr. Seizo Azuma and Ms. Mitsuko Amano, aiming to further his development.
