Recognition to the Talent of Musician Andrade Caicedo
Enner Martín Andrade Caicedo, percussion teacher at the Comfacauca Symphony Orchestra – Núcleo Sur, was recognized as the Best Marimba Performer in the free mode in the XXVIII version of the Petronio Álvarez Pacific Music Festival.
This award highlights not only his talent, but also his dedication to teaching and promoting traditional Pacific music.
Once again, the Petronio Álvarez Festival, one of Colombia’s most important cultural events, celebrated the musical richness of the region and Andrade Caicedo’s achievement highlights the quality and commitment of the teachers of the Comfacauca Symphony Orchestra.
This Orchestra is an inspiring project that includes children from the Complementary School Day Program (JEC) and students from the Comfacauca Popayán Technical School. These young musicians, under the direction of excellent professionals, in every performance show great skill and passion for music in every note played.
According to the directives of Comfacauca, the recognition of the musician and teacher, Enner Martín Andrade Caicedo, is a source of pride for the entire educational and cultural community of the institution, which supports and promotes the artistic talent of young people.
