Stripe Becomes Principal Sponsor of teh Irish Maths Trust

Financial technology company Stripe⁤ has committed to a three-year sponsorship‍ of the Irish maths Trust (IMT), a ⁢key⁢ organization dedicated to fostering‌ advanced mathematics skills among students in Irish secondary schools.

The IMT oversees the Irish Maths ⁣Olympiad (IrMO),the national competition that identifies and challenges Ireland’s most promising young mathematicians. This competition⁤ also serves as the qualifying event for selecting the team that represents Ireland at the prestigious ⁣International Maths‍ Olympiad.

Record-breaking Performance and Continued Growth

Ireland achieved its best-ever results at‍ the recent International Maths Olympiad, securing two silver medals and one ⁤bronze medal.Stripe’s financial backing will ensure the continued success and expansion of ‌the IrMO,⁢ allowing the IMT to⁤ reach more students across the country.

Expanding⁣ STEM Support

This sponsorship builds on Stripe’s growing commitment to​ supporting STEM education in Ireland. In May 2025,‍ Stripe became the title ‍sponsor of the Young ​Scientist and⁣ Technology Exhibition, replacing BT. The company also provides support to the youth accelerator patch and the Immersive Software Engineering course at the University of Limerick.
