And that is exactly what we got on the evening of Tuesday, February 25, at GMHBA Stadium in Australia, when, like a lot of professional football teams starting to gel, the combination of Isaac How/ Nate Caddy produced a total of seven entertaining goals. These players delivered a commanding performance, and provided a lot of excitement in Essendon’s AAMI Community Series 21-point win over the Cats (final score: 17.2 104 to 12.11 83).

After being drafted with pick 13 in last November’s Telstra AFL Draft, How showcased an impressive debut, racking up a whoppping 4 goals from 14 touches in the 17.2 (104) to 12.11 (83) win, and even had a chance at a fifth goal, a shot blocked by Sam Draper in the final seconds. The next generation academy graduate’s performance has stadium fans talking about the next MVP.

Then, Nate Caddy made the highlight reel with three dynamic goals for the red and black in the second and third quarters.

The AAMI Community Series opened in splendid fashion. It was excellent to note both the face to face included no injuries.
