The Burgenland tennis Association (BTV) kicked off the week with its general assembly in Neutal. BTV President Günter Kurz welcomed guests including Burgenland’s Sport Landesrat Heinrich Dorner and Austrian Tennis Federation (ÖTV) Vice President Stephanie Bonner.
In anif, the Salzburg Tennis Association (STV) also held its general assembly, re-electing President Christian Zulehner and his team for another three-year term. The event also served as a farewell to Erich mild, who stepped down as STV’s Geschäftsführer (managing director) after an remarkable 26-year tenure.
mild,who led the association from 1998 to 2024,was honored with unanimous election as an honorary member of the STV. Landessportdirektorin Andrea Zarfl was among the attendees who recognized Mild’s dedication. As a token of appreciation for his years of service, ÖTV’s Head of Business Thomas Schweda presented Mild with two VIP tickets to the 2025 Generali Open Kitzbühel.
The week concluded with the Tyrol Tennis association (TTV) general assembly in Innsbruck, where President Wolfgang Winklehner and his team were also re-elected for a three-year term. Schweda represented the ÖTV at this meeting as well.
The austrian Tennis Federation congratulated both STV President Zulehner and TTV president Winklehner on their re-elections, thanked outgoing STV Geschäftsführer Erich Mild for his years of dedicated service, and wished his successor, Jörg Eberhardt, all the best.
