The flooding, which occurred on Friday (January 23rd), entered homes. Seven subsidized housing complexes and villages in Sukamekar Village were affected.
“Seven housing complexes were flooded. The worst affected were Green Lavender and Nebraska. The current water level is around 150 centimeters, yesterday it reached 200 centimeters,” said sukamekar Village Secretary, Taufik, on Saturday (January 24th, 2025).
He explained that the floodwaters have not receded due to the overflow of the CBL River, and the 1.5-meter-high floodwaters are slow to subside.
