Sudan’s Al-Hilal chooses Mauritania to host its African matches, Sahara Media

The Sudanese club, Al Hilal, chose Mauritania to host its match in the second preliminary round of the African Champions League competition, instead of the Juba Olympic Stadium in South Sudan, where the team played the first preliminary round match of the competition.

Al-Hilal stated in an official statement the reasons for transferring its matches in Africa to Mauritania: It sent a letter to the South Sudan Football Association thanking it for hosting the team’s matches in the continental championships.

Al-Hilal confirmed that it has received official approval to participate in the Mauritania League competitions in the new season, explaining in its statement that the administration responded to the coach’s desire to transfer the team’s matches to Mauritania, to adapt to the stadium and the temperature. for the games held at night.

Al Hilal is led by Congolese coach Florent Ibengue, who is looking for success with the Sudanese team in the current edition, which Al Hilal started by eliminating the Libyan club Al Ahly Benghazi with a 1-0 victory in Libya and a draw 1 -1 in South Sudan.
