Suge Knight Calls for Diddy Prison Time Over cassie Abuse Allegations
Marion “Suge” Knight, the co-founder of Death Row Records, believes Sean “diddy” Combs should face prison time following allegations of abuse against his former girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. Knight, currently serving a 28-year sentence at Richard J. donovan Correctional Facility in California for a 2015 hit-and-run, voiced his opinion on the matter.
Knight emphasized that his stance isn’t about dismissing the severity of the alleged abuse. He stated that violence and disrespect toward women should never be tolerated. He added that accountability should extend to everyone, including himself, for harmful actions.
The Diddy abuse allegations have sparked widespread discussion about accountability, and Suge Knight weighed in. Knight suggested that Diddy could begin to repair the damage by being truthful about his actions.
“I never saeid he should walk away a free man. He does deserve [prison],” Knight said. “I don’t mean like… ‘Oh, you beat the shit out of Cassie, so, oh well.’ No, she’s a woman. You should never disrespect a woman like that […] I think everyone should be held accountable — even myself. I don’t care who it is. Anybody who does those horrible things to women deserves their issue.”
Knight also expressed his disturbance after viewing the video, calling Diddy’s behavior ”unacceptable” and stating that no man should “beat a woman like that.”
“I had never really seen a woman get dragged, beaten, and disrespected like that before […] When he came around that corner, puff did beat the dog shit out of her,” Knight said.
Knight acknowledged his own past isn’t without controversy, referencing allegations of abuse against R&B singer Michel’le during their relationship. Michel’le has publicly accused Knight of physical abuse, recounting an incident where she required emergency room treatment after being struck.
“One of the craziest things he ever did was when he tried to hit me,” Michel’le said. “he only tried one time. And he was so strong that he open-hand slapped me and threw my whole jaw out of [place]. I had to go to the emergency room. He backhand slapped and it wouldn’t go back. So I had to finally call him and say, ‘You’re gonna have to come take me to the emergency.’ It was either that or the police was gonna have to take me.”
