Singer and television personality Sun-young Jang is adjusting her evening routine ahead of a scheduled television appearance, balancing a pre-performance weight-loss regimen with a preference for evening drinks, Sports Chosun reported.
Jang Loses Weight for Upcoming Concert
Appearing as a special guest on the Oct. 4 broadcast of the SBS entertainment program My Little Old Boy, Jang discussed her current physical conditioning during a promotional video released by the network on Oct. 1. When asked about her recent activities by producers, she stated that she is actively losing weight to prepare for an upcoming concert. She explained that the period leading up to a live show requires her to dry out her physique, describing the process with a laugh.
Dietary Plans and Household Drinking Habits
Despite implementing a pre-performance restriction on her body weight, Jang acknowledged that her interest in food and alcohol remains unchanged. When production staff asked for too much information regarding her daily routine, she revealed that she was debating an evening combination of beer and fried chicken. Her reputation as an entertainer who enjoys a drink is mirrored by her husband, broadcaster Kyeong-wan Do, who recently addressed the couple’s alcohol consumption on his YouTube channel, Dojang TV. Do clarified that despite viewer assumptions that they drink daily due to weekly video uploads, their actual drinking frequency averages about three days a week.
Medical Exams Show Clean Health Results
Addressing public concerns over their health, Do reported on his channel that the couple underwent medical examinations focusing primarily on their livers and stomachs. He shared that their results were clean, noting that a single polyp was removed from one of them while their livers remained in good condition. Jang, who married Do in 2013 and shares two children with him, continues her broadcast and concert schedule following her appearance on the Oct. 4 episode of My Little Old Boy.
