Sunny Skies Ahead: Extended Weather Forecast for NYC Boroughs
The National Weather Service has issued an extended forecast for southeastern New York. Skies will be mostly sunny, with no hazardous weather expected.
In Manhattan, residents can expect a high temperature of about 39°F today. Wind chill values will be between 20°F and 30°F, with west winds of 9 to 13 mph.
Brooklyn’s forecast is similar, with a slightly warmer high of 40°F. All boroughs, including Queens, The Bronx, and Staten Island, will experience stable weather throughout the week.
Daytime temperatures will hold steady, while nighttime lows will drop to the high 20s. Tuesday will be the warmest day, reaching 42°F in Queens and Staten Island. A 50% chance of showers is expected from Wednesday night into Thursday morning, with a 30% chance of showers before 1 PM later in the week.
The marine forecast warns of gale force wind gusts from Thursday afternoon into Friday, mainly affecting the Atlantic coastal waters. However, the city itself will not face any hazardous weather. Strong winds are likely ahead of and behind a cold front later this week.
