Ott and fellow Cavaliers assistant Johnnie Bryant were the finalists, meeting with Suns owner Mat Ishbia, CEO Josh Bartelstein, and General Manager Brian Gregory in Michigan on Tuesday. The team’s front office ultimately aligned on Ott, with Suns star devin booker also endorsing the choice during the final stages of the process.
