Each year, schools on the Lower Eyre Peninsula participate in a Super 8’s cricket competition. This event has occurred for ten years and includes Year 7, 8, and 9 students.
The format is seven overs per side, which promotes scoring and excitement. Five schools compete in a round-robin style. Each team plays four games. PLHS entered three teams: Year 7 Boys, Year 8/9 Boys, and Year 7/8/9 Girls. All teams displayed great sportsmanship and ensured everyone participated.
