The collaboration donuts will be available at all KKD locations nationwide in Japan starting April 8, 2026. The sale period is scheduled to run through May 26, 2026, or while supplies last.
This partnership marks the 20th anniversary of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts in Japan. To further the campaign, the Shibuya Cine Tower store will be transformed into an immersive movie-themed space for the duration of the promotional period.
Collaboration Donut Details
The new lineup consists of three donuts based on popular characters and one inspired by a franchise icon. Each offering features specific design elements intended to evoke the adventure world of the film.

- Mario Strawberry: A ring donut coated in red strawberry icing. It is decorated with red and blue sprinkles, star-shaped sugar sprays and a non-edible Mario cap pick. The price is ¥388 for takeout and ¥396 for eat-in.
- Yoshi Custard Egg: An oval-shaped donut designed to resemble a Yoshi Egg. It is coated in white chocolate and topped with a green oval chocolate plate. The interior is filled with a custard cream made with Hokkaido milk. The price is ¥410 for takeout and ¥418 for eat-in.
- Luma & Blueberry Galaxy: This donut features pink strawberry and yellow pudding-flavored icing, a white chocolate coating, and a blueberry glaze. It is topped with silver sprinkles and a Luma-filled monaka wafer disc. The price is ¥410 for takeout and ¥418 for eat-in.
- Question Block Doughnut Box: A donut packaged in a square box designed to mimic the Question Block. The specific contents of the box are intended as a surprise for the consumer. The price is ¥540 for takeout and ¥550 for eat-in.
