The ceremony is scheduled for 11 a.m. on September 19 at a wedding hall inside a university convention center in Seoul.

According to coverage from Star News, Shin shared the news via an Instagram story. She expressed gratitude to supporters who remembered her music career.

I wanted to prepare the wedding quietly, but thank you to those who warmly celebrated me without forgetting me as a singer. After two and a half years of a long-distance relationship between Hong Kong and Seoul with someone who is warm when we work together and makes me feel like myself, we are tying the knot as a married couple. We will live well, respecting each other just as we are. Thank you.

According to verified reports, Shin’s fiancé is a finance professional who graduated from the Business Administration Department at the University of Hong Kong.

The couple maintained a long-distance relationship spanning Hong Kong and Seoul for roughly two and a half years before finalizing their wedding plans.

From Superstar K3 to Visual Arts

Shin initially rose to prominence during the third season of Mnet’s Superstar K in 2011, leveraging her distinct vocal tone to reach the Top 11 stage of the competition.

Following her appearance on the program, she spent approximately four years as a trainee before making her official official debut in 2015 with the mini-album 20’S PARTY 1, alongside contributing to various television drama soundtrack releases.

Outside of her work in the music industry, she has also pursued visual arts and design projects under the professional moniker babicasso.
