The Supreme Court has ‍acknowledged awareness of the Jayapura District ​Court’s decision to acquit Brigadier Alfian Fauzan​ Hartanto in a child abuse case that occurred in‍ Kaerom Regency, Papua, in 2022. The acquittal was reportedly‌ based on the wishes of​ witnesses.
