The fourth season of 21BY72, presented by CIFDAQ and hosted by IVY Growth Associates with Sangini Group, convened June 14-15 in Surat.More than just a conference, the event served as a catalyst for India’s burgeoning startup ecosystem, drawing over 10,000 attendees.
Founders, investors, creators, and industry veterans from across India and the globe gathered at Avadh utopia, focusing on fueling innovative ideas and fostering collaboration. The atmosphere buzzed with purposeful conversations, from formal sessions to informal coffee breaks.
The summit featured speakers such as Dr. Vijay Kedia, Azhar Iqubal of Inshorts, Neha Dhupia, Saina Nehwal, Ganeshprasad Sridharan from Think School, and Sarthak Ahuja. They shared insights on growth, risk, creativity, and resilience.
More than 100 venture capital funds, 500 angel investors, and prominent creators actively engaged with startups. Government bodies including i-Hub, iNDEXT-B, and Industries Commissionerate also participated to support the growth of India’s startup ecosystem and the startup India initiative.
A highlight was ’Trailblazer’s Mine,’ a live pitch session were 15 startups presented their ideas to top investors. The pitches underscored the potential within India’s startup landscape.
Global tech giants Google and Meta also had a presence. Google engaged with founders on the ground, while meta hosted a workshop on brand storytelling and performance marketing, demonstrating the interest of global players in the Indian market.
