Peru, Indiana – High-speed internet is coming to Peru, Indiana, thanks to a $5.5 million fiber network expansion project by Surf Internet. Teh Great lakes region internet service provider (ISP) broke ground last month, with the first phase of the project set to go live this month.
Surf Internet aims to connect 4,275 residential and commercial properties in Peru by the middle of 2026. The project promises to deliver internet speeds of up to 2 gigabits-per-second, with the capacity to scale up to 10 Gigs in the future.
