José Ibarra Linked to Gang and Charged with Murder

José Ibarra, 26, faces multiple charges, including murder, in connection with the death of Laken Riley, a nursing student in Georgia. Sources from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) confirmed that Ibarra is a member of the Tren de Aragua gang.

Ibarra entered the United States through El Paso in 2022. Initially, he was released due to space limitations in detention facilities. Afterward, he was arrested but not deported because the alleged crime occurred in the U.S.

The charges against Ibarra include first-degree murder, aggravated assault, kidnapping, and concealing a death.
