Sweet Touchdown: Arizona Cardinals Introduce Cotton Candy Burritos as the Stadium’s Newest Game-Changing Snack
Arizona Cardinals Introduce Cotton Candy Burritos at State Farm Stadium
Arizona Cardinals fans will be greeted with a sweet treat at State Farm Stadium this season – cotton candy burritos. The dish, inspired by similar food in Las Vegas, is a unique combination of cotton candy, ice cream, candy, and cereal.
Shawn Cavanaugh, executive chef at Craft Culinary Creations, told Fox News Digital that the idea was born out of a desire to create something fun and exciting for fans. “I’d like to say I invented it, but I saw it at an ice cream shop in Las Vegas,” he said in a phone interview.
The cotton candy burrito is a mix of cotton candy-flavored ice cream, Fruit Pebbles, Fruit Loops, marshmallows, Skittles, mini M&Ms, gummy bears, and sprinkles, all wrapped in a melt-in-your-mouth cotton candy shell. The treat retails for $15.
According to Cavanaugh, the burrito is made by hollowing out a cotton candy cone, filling it with ice cream and candy, and then “rolling” it into a burrito-like structure. Fans can eat it like a regular tortilla burrito, but it’s recommended to share due to its size.
The reaction to the cotton candy burrito has been mixed, with some fans expressing excitement and others humorously criticizing its sweetness. “My teeth itch just looking at it,” one Reddit user wrote. Another user joked, “If I saw this when I was 7, I would go to heaven. If I tried this now, I would go to heaven.”
Despite the mixed reactions, Cavanaugh emphasized that the cotton candy burrito is “fun” and a unique experience for fans. “It’s just really fun. It’s a fun item. That’s why we do it,” he said.

The Arizona Cardinals will play the Los Angeles Rams in their home opener on Sunday, September 15. Fans can try the cotton candy burrito at State Farm Stadium, available at every level of the stadium.
