The fourth-seeded Swiatek now advances to the semifinals of this grass court tournament, a key warm-up before Wimbledon.
Swiatek, who is seeking her first grass court title, acknowledged the challenges posed by the windy conditions and Alexandrova’s game. She committed 37 unforced errors during the match.
The Wimbledon finalist Jasmine Paolini also secured a spot in the semifinals, marking her fourth of the season, with a straight-sets 7-5, 7-5 victory over Beatriz Haddad Maia.
