Noè Ponti Eyes Double Medal Prospect at European Short Course Championships
Lublin, Poland – Swiss swimmer Noè Ponti is poised for a busy evening at the European Short Course Swimming Championships, having already secured a spot in both the 50m butterfly final and the semi-finals of the 100m medley as of December 3, 2025.
The 24-year-old from Ticino demonstrated strong early performance,achieving the fourth-fastest time in the 100m medley heats. He will return to the pool for the semi-final at 8:25 p.m. local time, following his appearance in the 50m butterfly final at 7:05 p.m.
Swiss Team Sets new National Record in Mixed Medley Relay
While the Swiss mixed 4x50m medley relay team didn’t advance to the final, finishing 14th they achieved a significant milestone by breaking the Swiss record. Thierry Bollin, Maël Allegrini, Gaia Rasmussen, and angelina Patt combined for a time of 1’41″68, surpassing the previous record by more than two seconds.
