Syndergaard Signs Minor League Deal with White Sox

The Chicago White Sox are taking a chance on veteran pitcher Noah Syndergaard, signing the former All-Star to a minor league contract. The team confirmed the move Tuesday as they continue their rebuilding process.
Syndergaard, 32, last pitched in the major leagues in 2023, appearing in 18 games for both the Los Angeles Dodgers and Cleveland Guardians.His career ERA stands at 3.71 across eight seasons, the majority of which he spent with the New York Mets.
Injuries have hampered the latter part of Syndergaard’s career. He underwent Tommy John surgery on his right elbow in 2020 and has also battled lat and finger issues.
