Syrian Actress Denies Marriage Rumors,Calls Them “Systematic Campaign”
Tulin Al-bakri vehemently denies rumors circulating online about her marriage to Maher Al-assad,brother of former Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad. In an exclusive interview, teh actress expressed her deep displeasure wiht the unfounded claims, calling them a “systematic campaign” designed to harm her reputation.
“Today, for the first time, I will respond to this news because the matter has become unusual,” Al-Bakri stated. “I believe that it is something that directly and indirectly harms me.”

Al-Bakri further pointed to a documented incident where she lost her car due to shelling in Al-Najma Square, Al-Shalan, highlighting her financial struggles.
“I lost my car due to a shell falling… and this thing is documented on YouTube,” she said. “And to this day, I cannot buy a car. All the people around me know about my humble condition. And I’m alive and well, thank God.”
The actress concluded her statement with a plea for understanding and a call for unity. “If I where Maher al-Assad’s wife, would I have asked to meet the ousted president Bashar al-Assad eight years ago to ask him for a house?” she questioned.
“I am appalled by the amount of ignorance and credence in the propaganda and rumors against me, especially since they appeared at a wholly inappropriate time because they created infection for me and my family when the regime fell,” Al-bakri added. “My message to everyone is to think about your problems and how we can build the country and live in peace. They left people alone with their lives.”
