Derbyshire Falcons secured an East Midlands victory, successfully chasing down the Leicestershire Foxes’ target of 197 in the Vitality T20 Blast at Edgbaston. The Falcons’ win lifted them from the bottom of the North Group, though they still need consistent improvement to reach the knockout stage after previous losses.
In the first of two Midlands derbies, Leicestershire opener Sol Budinger’s aggressive 49 runs off 24 balls helped set a meaningful target.
