The Falcons’ win lifted them from the bottom of the North Group, though they still need consistent improvement to reach the knockout stage after previous losses.
In the first of two Midlands derbies, Leicestershire opener Sol Budinger’s aggressive 49 runs off 24 balls helped set a meaningful target.
