Notts outlaws elected to field after winning the toss, and their decision initially seemed wise. daniel Sams bowled Worcestershire captain Brett D’Oliveira for a golden duck after D’Oliveira lost his footing attempting a rapid single. Ed Pollock then fell to Dillon Pennington’s delivery, caught by Matthew Montgomery, leaving the Rapids at 1-2.
